Just Jesus | September 13 - November 1

What we believe about Jesus influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships and even our attitude toward sin. If we are truly “alive in Christ”, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world. There will be distractions all around but one thing remains constant -- Jesus! Just Jesus and nothing else will bring comfort, give guidance, and lead you to a life of purpose. Join us for our next teaching series “Just Jesus” as we walk through the book of Colossians. If we want to have true worship, God-honoring relationships, and strive to live lives without the stranglehold of sin then we need to cling to Jesus.

Even in the offseason athletes must do what they can to stay ready for the season to start. This year they had an exceptionally long wait to hear the “GAME ON!”. Many have felt the same way in their own lives lately but, unlike those sports teams that had to wait, we as Christians do not have the luxury of an offseason. With COVID-19 it has felt a little more like a rain delay for most. These things can be frustrating and troubling. Jesus said that in this world we will have trouble. He also said that few find the road to everlasting life as we get too caught up with the things of this world. For the Christian, the Game is still—and always has been—on, but it has felt like we’ve been delayed. The game is still played for the same reason: for us, that means loving God and loving people. Suit up, get ready, it’s GAME ON!
