Chris Smyth, Preschool Children’s Minister, retired in 2021 after serving as Program Assistant, and then Preschool Children’s Minister for 25 years.  She has come out of retirement to serve again as Preschool Children’s Minister. Chris has been a member at LifeSpring for 47 years.  Her church family is her 2nd family.

Chris thinks preschoolers are amazing and loves how they embrace learning and enjoy various activities.  She believes that laying a foundation of faith at this age is important!  Concepts of “God made me”, “God loves me” and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever” are the basis of that foundation.  Chris loves serving her volunteers because they work hard with the children and families.  They are a dedicated and faithful group.

Chris is a widow with 2 grown sons, 2 daughters in laws and 4 granddaughters.  She loves spending time with her family, and friends and being outside.
