Matt was baptized as a teen at Mt Carmel Christian Church in Atlanta GA. In 1996 he graduated with a BA degree in Bible and General Studies from Cincinnati Bible College. During this time Matt frequently attended Clovernook Christian Church, and considered full time ministry and had various internships in New York, Colorado, and with a missions team. In 1998 he moved back to Cincinnati, became a member of Clovernook Christian Church, and pursued a career in accounting. It was in his late 30’s that he experienced a much-needed reset in his faith which caused a renewed awareness and appreciation for who Christ is and the infinite lengths he went to save each of us. At LifeSpring, Matt has served with the worship team, the finance team, local outreach, and various Bible studies including Rooted. For the past year, he has helped to lead a Friday night group for international students through IFI.
